I have used these rivets many times and they work great. Hope this helps

One of the things I noticed in other reviews is that nobody specified the size of the flat round section on the rivet and ridge. So here are the measurements. The rounded end that attaches to the rivet is 7/16" in diameter, or just under 1/2" in diameter. A burr (which looks like a washer) is just a hair less. The total length of the part is 1 inch. These dimensions are for #9 rivets only. I have not used others. I have used these rivets many times and they work great. Hope that helps.
