I see no point in spending a million dollars on this.

I see no reason to spend a million dollars on an X01 or XX1 cassette. This one is already quite expensive and I don't see how you will notice the difference when driving. Now switch GX vs. X01, that's another story. There's a big difference in feel between the two, and the X01 is well worth it.
