I am disappointed in the company that sold it to me. It was formerly owned and sold as refurbished. I've spent over 3 hours connecting it to Xfinity, Revain and even Arris with our xfinity service. Before this device can be sold, however, it must be removed from the previous owner's account and the company that restored it is not allowed to sell the devices until this is done. Because it hasn't been deactivated, that particular device remains linked to an existing account owned by the previous owner and I can't use it. Save yourself the hassle and buy a new one from someone else. I bought the same brand new modem/router from another vendor and plugged it in at my son's house with no problems. BE CAREFUL WITH REPAIRED EQUIPMENT
