Maybe better than the original.
Fits perfectly, has a sporty starting sound and runs great. About a month has passed and there have been no problems in the rain, snow, cold, or hot weather. Here in Louisiana we get everything. I am very happy with this purchase, it was the cheapest option I could find anywhere. I probably won't have any more problems in the life of my 180,000+ mile car, but if the starter fails I promise I'll update this to reflect that fact. I took my old starter off and installed this, start to finish, in under an hour and I didn't even get my shirt dirty.
