Review on High-powered Goldenrod Electric Trailer Winch: 3000LBS Max Load Capacity by Dru Labrado

I am very happy with this winch. I use it to load a 22 foot Sea Ray Seville CC boat that weighs about 4000 pounds. The boat is mounted on an Easy Loader roll trailer. And the boat we use has a steep ramp angle. This winch has a release lever to control the speed the boat rolls when unloading and the winch easily brings boats back to the trailer. The wiring harness that came with the winch was long enough to connect to my GMC. Sierra 1500 Extended Cab (with 6.5ft box). I took advantage of another user's suggestion and bought a power plug for an electric trolling motor which I installed on the truck's rear bumper and to power the length of cable that runs from the truck to the winch on the trailer. It took me half a day to install. Most of the time was spent running the power harness through the truck and connecting the connector to the bumper. We have used the winch several times and it has worked flawlessly. Let's see how many seasons we can get with this wind.
