Good sling. Smooth leather on both sides

Good sling. The only thing I had was smooth black leather on both sides. It seems that some people have a smooth side and a softer side, as do many other lines. Apparently softer is better for applying compounds?. Not sure if that's good or bad or what actually is better for smoothing, smooth and smooth or softer. But overall it's a good line. I use the green mix on one side and just finish with the leather and it gives my knives a razor sharp edge. As an experiment, I bought a new all-purpose razor and tested it to see if it could shave my arm hair. He didn't cut my hair on my arm, just pulled it up and cut off random strands. I then stripped it and holy cow! Now I could shave the hair off my arm without resistance! It's amazing that something so sharp could be made from a piece of leather and a small amount of green compound! I'm now a huge advocate of sharpening for anyone who wants sharp knives!
