Review on 🔒 PL5412 Blue Ribbon Metallic Manual Tailgate Lock for Toyota Tacoma with BOLT Codeable – Pop & Lock by Jason Cavett

Be careful, be very careful when buying this lock. It worked great for almost a year on my 2014 taco with hardback bakflip trunklid. Suddenly and without warning, the lock was still turning, but the knob wouldn't work! All my belongings were locked and I had to perform a very difficult extraction operation to get into the back of my own truck. When I finally opened it up, I was painfully aware that Pop & Lock had stopped working because of the cheap plastic parts used for that crap. The warranty turned out to be worthless as I bought it new from Revain, which Pop & Lock calls an auction site that voids all warranties. Too bad Tacoma owners don't have other alternatives and we have to deal with junk from companies like this.
