Now I've bought some Fastcap products and found something about the company. Great ideas, mediocre execution, always too expensive for what you get. These cutters fit that description. They offer a convenient solution to a small problem. They give a nice straight cut. But they're kind of mushy. First, the spring is not fixed at all and popped out every time I used it. It's only a matter of time before I lose it completely. I'm sure I could find a way to fix it locally, but I wouldn't have to. Such a silly little design flaw. Second, a very cheap black rubber loop (not shown in the Amazon photo) is attached to one of the handles. It ties the handles together to keep them closed when not in use, but it's basically a cheap rubber band. Really bad quality and weird looking, doesn't work. Those are two small features they added for convenience. And these are not bad ideas. But they are so poorly executed that it really ruins an otherwise good product. If I paid $12 for it I would feel like I got my money's worth. $10 seems fair. But $20? Rip off. I don't hate her enough to give her back. But I will neither buy nor recommend them. After encountering such issues a few times with Quick Cap products, I think I'm done.
