This descriptor is useful. As others have said, the stone is very soft and breaks down very quickly - the smaller chunky sticks I buy work much better. Also, the stone tends to pull away from the glued handle about 2/3 of the way, at which point you'll need to rework by hand. Not the worst thing in the world since you have to start by hand with every other product, but they still have to do a few notches on the back or whatever to hold the pumice better than a sloppy single bead of glue.
