Had to update my review as I've mixed it and used it on many different projects. Since I wrote my review below, I bought it in all colors. It mixes so well with water and water-based mediums that it goes with almost anything. It really isn't "icing on the cake". You need to buy a separate glaze. But I use it on glass, metal, paper and clay - I mix colors and get great olive green, teal, mahogany, you name it. And I like the matte finish so it's perfect. I usually dilute it and use it as a stain or with distemper adhesion medium. I like it, not at all what I expected. You may need to use very thick layers, but normal layers dry to a super matte finish (which I usually like). It just doesn't look like the photos.
