I bought these grinding wheels for working and turning parts on a lathe. The discs are quite strong and don't stick together as much as other grinding tools. I started using a 120 grit disc on an air sander, smoothed out some of the resin castings, then went through the 1000 grit and was able to get the tiniest circles. Although I started with dry sanding. from 120 to 320, then wet sanding started with 400, 600, 800 and 1000 grit. After that the discs cleaned quite well, either by tapping the surface or by dousing them with water and wiping the fibers out of the sand. easy. Haven't used the included wheel yet but it should fit easily in the 1/4" chuck. The hook side of the discs hold up very well even when they get wet. Excellent grinding wheels for mine
