I have revised my rating. There are no instructions for this product. First I assembled mine incorrectly and my hood wouldn't close. I was very disappointed and arranged a return but I needed luggage racks on my truck so I was thinking of how to use them. Long story short, I installed the bottom bracket on the wrong side and shortened the stroke. Inverting gave enough room for the hood to close before the struts hit the ground. Give people orders and that will never happen! With instructions it would be 5 stars.
