Used this kit to service my 700R4. Comes with spacers for 2 different types of cookware. One cork, the other paper. Make sure you are using the correct transmission pan gasket. If it has a raised rib all the way around that won't break, you're basically using a paper liner. If the pan has small, segmented ribs, use a cork liner. The filter fits perfectly into the standard drip tray that comes with the 700R4. If you have a deeper pan, this filter will not work. Tighten the bolts evenly to 12 ft-lbs or 144 in-lbs, increasing in increments of 1 or 2 lbs until fully tightened. After installation, let the gearbox run for a while to allow it to get hot. Let it cool down and tighten the screws again. Do this and you will have no leaks. Also, do not use sealant on these gaskets as they are designed to seal without sealant. My gearbox has had the original paper gasket installed since the first service and it has never leaked.
