Straightening is not as difficult as some think

Quality as expected. Some have mentioned that it is difficult to unwrap the hose as it is stiff. I wouldn't do that in the attic. What I did was take it to my back yard and start unwinding and working, pulling the sections down my legs and pressing against the curved part of the pipe about 2 feet at a time of the section and it towards you bend - pull, get. curved section to top of leg, push down, pull another 2 feet and repeat. I managed to roll over and stand up about 100 feet. Not exactly straight, but enough to move up my attic without uncoiling the pipe like a large feather. This method is simple and does not require any special techniques or equipment. Some devices I've seen online take longer to assemble than they do to unwind and erect. It was enough for me to straighten two 100ft spools to get through in under an hour, maybe half an hour if you're in a hurry. No, not quite straight, but long enough and straight enough for a person to drag through narrow aisles. If you want the perfect straight line, you need to buy tubing in straight lengths, just like you would buy copper tubing.
