Review on Pentek 158110 Clear Filter Housing by Nathan Jones

I bought this about 3 years ago to pre-filter water for a humidifier on a furnace because I use it I have had enough of clogged solenoid valves, screens and water panels so often. It turned out to be a great investment. It was amazing to see so much dirt removed from the city water supply, greatly extending the life of my Aprilaire components! Unless you're connecting directly to 1/2" or larger copper pipe through fittings, I recommend a bracket. It's a little flimsy, but it helps.
