Convenient to use, slim, well assembled. Slow charging

Updated after a year: this hub still works! My original review below still stands, but there are a few issues I've encountered: 1. PD charging is much slower than advertised. Yes, a small percentage should be lost through the hub. However, using this hub causes my laptop to not charge or drain easily during intensive tasks compared to charging at medium speed with a direct connection. When I connect or disconnect the charger to the hub, my laptop disconnects everything that is connected to the hub and then reconnects it, disrupting things like data transfers and external monitors. This happens all the time on the Mac and Windows laptops I've used. This is an amazing center. It works as soon as you plug it in, despite its 8-in-1 functionality. It has all the ports I need as a docking station on my desktop, yet is compact and light enough that I can put it in my bag for longer trips when I need extra ports. The premium aluminum and plastic feel comfortable, and the beveled exterior is a sleek design that can be rotated to either side depending on your configuration. I appreciate that there is no logo anywhere on the product which adds to its smoothness. The minor concerns I had upon initial inspection were that the USB-C cable's connection point makes a rattling noise and that some cutouts in the aluminum don't perfectly line up with the connectors inside. During my extensive tests in the last half week, however, I did not notice these things in everyday use. If anything changes I'll definitely update my review but I'm not expecting anything.
