National Science Foundation: Supports, fosters and disseminates new technologies

When I started my study process of this scientific foundation,

I remembered a program of a well known scientific popularizer, already deceased, who had a television program on Spanish television called "Redes", there they interviewed different people linked to the scientific environment, I remembered that it is an opportunity to interview a representative of this foundation and they approached the subject of the cosmos, something passionate and interesting,

That is the mission of this foundation, to support, disseminate and promote all innovative scientific initiatives in various areas, clean technologies, to prevent accelerated process of climate change,

In its fresh and well designed website you will find important and interesting technological news, the priority areas to support are in the area of computing, biology, environmental education, geosciences, physics and theoretical and applied mathematics, social sciences and engineering. For all these areas there is a fund that most of them apply to university projects in the United States.

It seems a small foundation but that is not so, to have an idea in this year it manages a budget that is about 8.500.000.000.000 dollars, an astronomical sum, and according to surveys it has boosted with its research a good part of the economy of the United States.
