Review on 🪚 Bosch RS031 5-inch Soft Sanding Pad (3107DVS, 3725DEVS) by Jason Bell

This is a replacement for the original grinding wheel on my Bosch grinder which fell apart after a few years of brief use. When I recently used a grinder to sand a countertop, I kept seeing sticky residue on the countertop. Eventually I found out that it was the foam padding that fell apart when I used it. One factor contributing to the disappointing durability might be that it was stored in a garage where it gets hot in the summer. I noticed that the Bosch website says the current pad has "improved lifespan". Hopefully. I gave this one 4 stars because it did a great job of doing the job I needed it for, but I need to see evidence that life has actually improved.
