I'm in love with this set!

I can't believe I waited 40 years to buy decent pots and pans. Every set I've had has been either fully nonstick or ceramic and without the thick, heavy base. And I cook a ton just for the two of us. I just didn't want to spend hundreds on a fancy set of boring stainless steel pots/pans (I have a colorful retro kitchen). They are heavy but not too heavy. The sides are thin but strong and durable. For example, I'm a bungler and while putting away a new piece of equipment I come across one of the hood covers. With all my old cookware, this would cause dents and/or paint chipping. I was shocked there was no dent at all. I also dropped one of the pots on the tile counter - no dent. So the sides and covers are thin but VERY strong. They heat incredibly evenly and quickly, and with the old electric range in my apartment building, it's just necessary. Everything is MUCH better. There are no hotspots. They are also very easy to clean. I washed them in the sink, rubbed them lightly or just threw them in the dishwasher. The color (blue) is gorgeous and incredibly durable (like I said, I've met it a few times). They remind me of the dishes my nana had and I love it. I see that I will use them all my life. My ONLY complaint is that I wish there was a smaller pot with a lid. There's a separate small one with a spout that's great for cocoa and sauces, but a slightly larger version with a lid (spaghetti sauce gets dirty) makes this set PERFECT. Otherwise I fell in love!

Pros
  • understandable even for the old ones
Cons
