Can't make it work. Disappointing design. Can't return it.

Was doing a remodel in 4 rooms and upgrading all the outlets and wall plates with this Brand.This specific switch however, didn't work. Both of them. I ended up substituting a cheaper version of this switch that worked fine, and then realized these only had a 30 day return window, so I'm stuck with $100 of switches that don't work.One design issue - the "optional" LED light should just be built in. There are other models that don't have it, so why complicate it with an additional wiring step? Add that to the fact the way this installs creates more wiring that needs to fit into the box, it just doesn't make any sense.

Pros

Fits in your existing electrical box with no new wires for typical installation.

Cons

The switch's backlit display can be distracting and annoying, especially if it is located in a bedroom or other sleeping areas
