I have a physical store. Every one of my customers with Caravan/T '98-02 and C with 3.3 or 3.8 has the same problem: The belt slips in the rain, mostly after driving in a puddle. Chrysler recognized this problem early and offered something called a "snow guard" but it was a Canadian part number and they stopped manufacturing it circa 2003. Gates has come up with a fantastic solution with this all inclusive package. The original smooth idler has been replaced with a ribbed one and a new belt design with grooves on both sides is used. It really is amazingly simple. My professional installation advice is to simply remove the wiper module and alternator. The time you spend removing the tensioner without doing so is three times as long (and annoying) as removing the WW module and alternator. In addition, a permanently laminated sticker for attachment to the vehicle with the changed belt number is included. Put it where it will not be damaged. Write the belt part number in the owner's manual (or on your work order if you work in a commercial shop). This will save you from confusion when it comes time to replace it. Incidentally, the second pulley pictured is 6mm smaller to accommodate a non-original air conditioning compressor which may have a slightly larger pulley than the original. I recommend this set unreservedly.
