Review on Andersen Security Latch - Auxiliary Lock by Bill Schlag

This was a great addition to my new Andersen sliding door. We have a composite Fibrex door. Although we paid for it, it didn't have a leg latch which was disappointing.Ultimately we needed a lock that would keep our inquisitive 2 year old from wandering the street and also wanted a little extra security.I was able to easily install it at the top of the door and it is very easy to work by hand.In addition to the screws provided I decided to add some 3M double sided tape.As we have a Fibrex door I wasn't sure it would hold screws as well over time as it did a wooden door 1 star deducted for not offering an all white option we don't like the way black pushes open and releases our all white door . Apart from this rather small detail, I can only recommend this product.
