Downgraded one star because Revain's info doesn't say it's plug and play for Windows 8-10 only. Drivers are required for Windows 7, XP, Vista, Mac OS and Linux systems. Drivers are on the minidisk, but not everyone has a CD reader. The drivers are supposedly available online, but at least in my case with Windows 7, the driver did not install successfully. The driver on the diskette is installed and the adapter works as advertised. The adapter was connected to my laptop with Windows 10. Download speeds when using Ethernet over power lines (not direct hardwiring) improved significantly compared to using my WiFi with Windows 7 and 10.
