Review on Mopar 6822 9402AA Engine Filter by John Rodriguez

I have an Ecodiesel Jeep Grand Cherokee in late 2015 (September) that I'm about to service myself. After checking the part numbers and reading other reviews about the filters, I decided to order. First I removed the old filter and started checking the original equipment built in. Did a comparison and everything looked fine. So good to use this filter cartridge for all my oil changes. It was the original Mopar I was looking for. You don't want to risk using a non-genuine device in a warranty case. I was a little apprehensive about shipping the filter and dealing with a damaged new part as this has happened to me but everything looked fine and no damage. I called my local Jeep parts dealer about an OTC sale and they wanted $68 for the filter alone. Would have given 5 stars but for some reason the shipping was slow despite my prime?
