Replaced the standard mechanical latch on my front door. a lot and apparently it sometimes affects my fingerprints). The lock was very easy to install, took about 10 minutes. Installing the app, initial syncing, and setup was easy and straightforward. I haven't had any of the problems that some have described. The gate was the same. After linking the lock in the app, I connected and synced the gateway to the lock/app and that was it.*** For a minute I was a bit confused with the gateway. It showed an empty box with another password written underneath it, the first box had no label. I looked up the instructions online and they just said to use the same setting as for the lock. However, they found that if your router doesn't advertise the 2.4 and 5 GHz SSIDs separately (just one broadcast for both), which my router does, you'll have problems. So I put my SSID in the first field and password in the second and it connected immediately. So far only 2 days have passed, everything works as it should. I've turned off the auto-block feature as I'm worried about blocking myself. And I haven't linked it to my Alexa yet, but I plan to. I'll update this if I run into any issues or if I experience the short battery life that some have noticed. But so far it works exactly as advertised.
