The top ring has broken off, choking hazard.
Worked well for almost a year until the top plastic ring broke in the eggs I was beating for cookie dough. I didn't realize it until my kids complained about the hard plastic bits in their cookies. Luckily it was my older children and not the baby who found the fragments first. I had to throw away the whole load of cookies. The kitchen utensils I bought for newlyweds in 2004 have lasted me ten years or more. The new kitchen utensils don't seem to be up to the same standard.
