Tooth must of punctured the squeaker right away because it only squeaked about three times before his chewing just illicited the annoying sound of expelled air, but I love my dog so I don't really mind that, what I did mind was the puked up piece of crown I found on the floor the next morning. Bummer. Better out than in though. If you dog does not persistently chew this toy may be safer. For reference my dog is a collie/aussie mix about 45 pounds.
