grab your eyes! good for external accessories

I already had the 4" red LEDs on the back of my little fella to upgrade for a visual addition. I will say they are as bright or brighter than the LEDs that are have replaced them. However. With this fifth star, I was under the impression that the outer ring would glow on running lights and then get brighter on brake lights. The outer ring doesn't change intensity with traffic lights, but the mids are almost blinding.
