Review on MICHELIN X-Ice North 4 205/55 R16 94T winter by Dorota Masiewicz ᠌

I didnt see good quality, solid disadvantages.

Car Camry 55. I'm not happy with the tires. The only plus is that it is quiet. But she floats. You have to constantly work and "catch" the car when you go straight. When there is light icing on the road, or it sweeps, it’s scary to drive at all. The stability sensor often works. My opinion is this: since the spikes are small and there are a lot of them, they thereby achieved silence, but because they are small, they are useless, they don’t “solder” as they should, and when there is no snow on the road, they float. It was just something to compare it on this car. Prior to that, there was Nordman 4 from the former owner. There was a noise and a wild rumble, it slowed down worse, but it kept the road better. It's beyond words, you have to travel. At first, I thought Michelin should go through a run-in and everything will be fixed, but now the season is coming to an end, I have already driven 8000 km on this rubber and I think to sell it. Like this. The review is real, maybe it will help someone.

Pros
  • Quiet, really quiet. Good brakes. Rows well in snowy porridge.
Cons
  • Doesn't work well on icy pavement. Steering in a straight line.
