Review on 🔌 Enhance Vehicle Wiring with Hopkins 43385 Plug-In Simple Wiring Kit by Mark Repp

I bought a Hopkins 43385 connector because it was supposed to be plug n play for Toyota 4runners. I have a 2004 Toyota 4runner V8 Limited. It might be for other disguises or maybe other 4th gen 4runners, but not for me. The forks are similar. The 4 wire plug is compatible, female and male, and could be plugged in, but the wiring was different. The 3 wire connector is the same as the one on the side of the car, female to female, and the wiring was different. I had to cut and resolder the leads on my original 7 pin and new Hopkins 43385 to get it working. It's possible that my particular car is an exception to their compatibility list, but check the connectors and wire colors before you buy, or be ready to claim it like I did.
