Easy to use. plug and play I thought my laptop doesn't support gigabit bandwidth, the problem turned out to be that I was using a CAT 5 cable and not CAT 6. Yes, the adapter connected a little faster with the wrong network cable. CAT 5 does NOT support high speed transmission. I switched to a high-speed CAT-6 cable and actually got BETTER throughput WITHOUT an adapter. This product is best for users, who don't have a network port on their laptop and need to use USB. Will come back because I don't need this adapter, I just need a better cable. I will buy a CAT 7 cable for this portable station. I would post photos of the test results but they won't let you.
