I have used this product with Dexcool coolant mixed with deionized water which tends to find loose connections that may be leaking. This liquid is pumped through low pressure recirculating chillers. These fittings are leak free, beautifully finished and proven to be quality disconnects. Other reviews have shown rusty hardware, so let me just say this: if you are going to use it in a cold and wet environment, DO NOT USE STEEL FITTINGS! Stainless steel or brass is the right material. Assign your application to the right material type!
