Bought for my younger 7 year old son who was starting to learn tricks . The size was good, easy to assemble, seemed solid, the wheels and bearings were smooth, the steering wasn't as smooth as expected and it felt like it had some resistance when turning or hitting the rear. After 6 months, the handle broke in the area where it connects to the base. Obviously the weak point is where the metal tube is slotted to allow it to pass through the threaded neck of the base connector. Spending a little more than a "cheap" scooter is disappointing, but it won't last as long.
