Short sweet honest review of the Voilmart 1500w hub motor.Is it fun? Yes! Oh the gobs of torque at the flick of your wrist throttle.Is it fast? Yes and yes at 35 mph easily on flat roads.Is it hard to install? Yes if you’re completely not hands on type of person. I relied on YouTube to guide me. I used a channel called Goldguy on YouTube as he used a step by step instruction on how he installed his 1000W rear hub motor. I also used other YouTube videos to reconnect the V-brake cables.How long did it take to install? 3 days only about 4 hours a day. I’d say take your time and enjoy the process.What battery am I using? 52V 20 amp.The not so good is the instruction manual were useless. I just used the instruction manual to make sure I got all my parts from the order.Did I install the pedal assist? Nope, it’s not required. I just pedal a little and flick the wrist and this thing just moves.Would I buy again? Oh yeah I would. I’m interested I converting my kids bike. Or maybe a mid drive for a future project if the power (speed) to cost ratio makes sense.
