High-quality carpet at an affordable price

I like this carpet. I have an 18 week old puppy who loves to play outside and a new home that is 99% dirt and 1% grass. We also have a new laminate parquet that is constantly being run over by dirty puppy paws. My husband bought a regular Walmart rug to put by the back door, but he didn't clean her paws before she hit the floor. The carpet also kept sliding across the floor. Since the doors to the backyard are double French doors, I specified that I needed a jogging mat. This one had the most and best reviews, and several other reviewers have also used this rug for dog paws - both indoors and outdoors. I placed the carpet inside because the back deck is open to the elements and doesn't have a ledge to keep the carpet clean and dry. I put it in and I can already tell the difference. It doesn't slide on the floor even when my kids walk on it and play on it with the puppy. The rubber backing is good quality, thick quality and I'm sure it will protect the floor under the carpet as well, despite what it puts on its paws. As I stood barefoot on the mat and let the dog out, I was amazed at how thick and durable the fabric is, as well as the deep grooves that are sure to pick up tons of dirt and grime from puppy paws. I offset the carpet from the center of the tailgate so it comes in from one side and has to run the full length before it hits the floor. It reduced the amount of dirt and paw prints on the floor within the first hour I put it down. Although it arrived in the mail rolled tightly, it lay flat and didn't curl at all. This is definitely a high quality rug at a great price. I will most likely buy another one for my back room to take care of the mess people leave on their shoes. Featured!
