Insurance came quicker than expected. I splashed the insulating coating with some water and it cracked immediately. The material seems strong and durable and I think it will protect my downcomers perfectly. UPDATE - 10/5/19 I'm impressed. I've had this case for a while now and before that I've had a few cases twice the price that never lasted. This new cover has held up really well, as you can see from the photos we get a lot of sun. I liked that there is the perfect amount of insulation so you can easily slip it over your pipes like a glove. The velcro on the bottom is good and strong so the cover never flies off, especially in strong winds. The little bib hat was a nice touch too and proved very comfortable and also made from the same waterproof material. Even their support team responds immediately to any questions and it is always a pleasure to chat with them. Don't take chances with other covers. Highly recommend and for the price it's worth it!
