BAD Fuel Leak Around Injector

I bought a TBI unit and it LOOKS GREAT! I've read mixed reviews but since I run my truck with a Big Block 489 AND I wanted it to work with fuel injection I decided to give it a try. I've been a GM mechanic for a long time, so I know how to use and tune tbi well. The system is fairly easy to install. Everything is hooked up, a 60 PSI pump installed with a new Holley fuel pressure regulator, I turned the key, checked the fuel pressure in the cabin. He said 31 PSI so I went to set the fuel pressure to 43 PSI. However, when I got out, I understood. The driver's side rear fuel injector squirted fuel onto the fireshield and windshield, and of course the falling bulb I had hung there so I could see the fuel pressure regulator to adjust. The bulb exploded about the time I jumped for the key to turn it off and the fire was HUGE. I had a carbon dioxide fire extinguisher four steps away and put out the fire REALLY quickly, but not before losing the wires on the back of the unit, throttle wire, TV wire and cruise control wire, and a couple of spark plug wires. etc. I can't test how the device works because I haven't got around to it yet. Now I have to send this block back to find out why the o-ring around this injector is bad? blown out? And I need to replace the wiring, connectors and cables. As you can imagine, I am TOTALLY unhappy that a brand new product has such a horrific flaw/leak. If I ever fix this I will update my review. Since this moment. I closed shop and went away for a few days to cool off and NO I would definitely NOT recommend this product. To be honest I can't recommend anything that breaks before installing/running.
