Great saw great price great saw

This saw works fantastic. It is convenient, the blade is securely fixed, the body is metal, as is the locking mechanism. The locking mechanism has a plastic cover but is otherwise metal. I made a user error. I'm so used to my Carpenrter hand saw that I've forgotten it's a Japanese saw that cuts backwards or when you pull the saw. After remembering this important fact, the saw cut perfectly and quite aggressively. It has 9 teeth per inch and is not as aggressive as a 7 teeth per inch saw. It has triple teeth that cut both wet and dry wood quickly. I've tested it on all cuts with a maximum cut diameter of 4 inches, no problem. He even cut out a 5 inch piece. If you find yourself in this situation, there are no problems, but you have to be careful. I am older and have 40 years of hiking and horseback riding experience in Montana, Colorado, Texas, California. I would take this saw without hesitation. One thing you learn in the country is be prepared for equipment to fail. That's why I ruthlessly check everything I buy before it leaves me. I bought this saw after seeing the list of user approvals so decided to give it a try. while it works perfectly. Personally, I rely on a whole arsenal of tools that bring me back home. A saw, a good camping ax, a good knife. All axes and knives are multifunctional. I have a toothbrush (orange) with me to brush my teeth when I saw a lot of wood. Have fun, be safe and enjoy.
