Review on ๐Ÿงถ Lacis Plastic Wool Yarn Ball Winder by Cheryl Williams

Revainrating 2 out of 5

The winding machine is fine, suitable for occasional use, requires special attention when using

This product is a simple yarn winding machine with a relatively simple design, so I think it does not live up to expectations. As recommended, I use a speed winder to ensure smooth/constant feeding. The instructions are simple and contain no troubleshooting advice. The trailing arm is poorly designed and requires excessive force to lock (to the point I'm afraid of breaking the plastic base). If the bellcrank is misplaced, the yarn will get caught in the open gears under the spindle and become a mess. I've used several other winding machines at local yarn stores and it hasn't been the best winding experience. I chose this product because of the price and in short I got the quality I paid for. I also need to wind 6 to 12 skeins a year, I can live with that. should suit your needs.
