Review on 🚗 Enhanced Air Suspension Kit - Air Lift 1000 (Model 60815) by Clay Ijaz

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very good so far! for shock absorbers, struts and suspension

So far everything seems fine! Installation was a bit more difficult than originally thought, but that's because I was cheap and didn't want to buy a bigger drill! I thought I could make full use of the round file! Well I couldn't find a file so I used a drill that was just a size too small and went through it over and over until it fit. I used the separate air valve method! There were several existing holes just behind the fenders that I used. One side took about two hours. Then I ran out of daylight so I did the other side the next day. But first I went to buy a drill bit of the right size. Then I only took half the time. You have to remove the existing fender! Fourth, you need a 14mm extension socket, so you don't have to cut anything or make rubber plugs. I've given it 4 stars for now but when I go on this long journey in a few weeks where I carry a lot of gear on my back through some high mountain passes I'll see how they perform and upgrade to 5 stars if anything will be fine. I took some photos of what it looks like and where I installed the valve stems, but I don't think it's possible to upload them to the review. So! Update: November 21, 2014: Took a van with airbags on a 1000 mile trip. By the second half of the trip we had about 600-700 pounds, maybe more, loaded on our backs with bags inflated to about 30psi. The bags kept the van from sagging like the last time we carried that much weight. You can still tell it's gone down, but not by much. With the extra weight, the van still handled mountain passes and small bumps well. All in all, this is a very economical way to increase the cargo capacity of a minivan. Worth buying, easy installation!
