'Nuts' on hose fittings too close to 'bulge' when crimped. This results in there not being enough room to fully tighten the tool fitting to the hose fitting. What happens is that due to the thickness of the wrenches (standard Craftsman wrenches) you end up tightening the "tool" fitting onto the wrench used for the "hose" fitting. See the photo which hopefully shows what I'm trying to explain. I used 5 turns of teflon tape and was still able to tighten this tool on the hose, except it started tightening the tool on the wrench used on the "hose" nut. I actually found an old, "cheap" wrench that was thinner and allowed me to get one more turn. There is no air leakage, so the problem is solved. BUT I bought this hose reel almost entirely because of Dewalt's reputation; I'm surprised this passed Dewalt's tests.
