I used to use this wheel to measure houses by running it along the siding. This one always seems to be a few inches off as the wheel slips easily and the wheel head is much heavier than any other I've used making hard-to-reach spots even more unwieldy. I ended up dropping them all in favor of the Disto, but if you want an easy-to-use little spinning wheel, go for the Rolatape brand single wheel and plan on replacing it every few months when the telescoping handle wears out or the gauge starts up to skip. . I don't recommend this one.
