Perfect for intended use - good size.

This is a good quality product in a very comfortable size. I like the tighter knit gauge compared to most products with much larger openings. Loose knots and cheap hooks breaking as problems have been reported in poorly rated reviews, but that's not a problem for me. The net I received was tied very well and evenly. There are no problems with spinning at all. The hooks are plastic but seem strong enough for their intended use - attaching loose items. I could see these hooks breaking if you pull on them too hard. The weak point is on a smaller hook that snaps onto the bungee cords themselves. If you try to stretch it beyond that, that will likely be the first place it breaks. Again, they seem strong enough for their intended use, but be mindful of the size and don't try to stretch it across the entire bed of your pickup truck or over a 3ft stack of boxes - it just isn't that big. If you limit yourself to a reasonable distance (see answers to the questions), everything is fine. Fine mesh means the tension when stretched is higher than large mesh, simply because the thinner the mesh, the more elastic cords you pull. I specifically wanted a smaller network and this is perfect for my needs. I ordered my first net to use as a dog guard in the back of my jeep and it works great. I installed additional D-ring anchor points on each side of the car for the hooks to grab and now I have a quick-raise, quick-lower, and easy-to-retract dog gate instead of a difficult metal trap gate to install, remove, and store. I was impressed so ordered a second one to use as a cargo net.
