I have been a fan of German knives for many years. This Spanish gem really impressed. The steel quality is excellent. I've had it for almost two years and still only minimal discoloration (mostly from accidentally running it in the dishwasher). It holds an edge very well and the upward slope of the handle makes it a very comfortable and functional cutting tool. I have to admit that my $150 8-inch Wusthoff rarely breaks these days. Thick blade with a full shank and a nice handle. I have a feeling he will have a long and happy life in my kitchen. I recently bought a smaller knife. The Arcos Universal 4" paring knife isn't as pretty. The Terranova line is by far the best choice. The Riviera line looks good too, but I haven't used them. Do yourself a favor and try this little knife out.
