Review on 🌐 Ubiquiti Networks UniFi AC Mesh Wide-Area Outdoor Access Point - UAP-AC-M-PRO US, Dual-Band by Randy Bin

I have many Ubiquiti at home and have always been very satisfied with the products and their performance. However, this UAP-AC-M-PRO did not deliver. Test unit in my shed about 60 feet or less from my deck, signal on deck with -72dB to -70dB signal. That's only marginally better than what I get from my UAP-AC-PRO through several walls indoors! I've played around with the settings for both channels and also set the default power to Maximum instead of Auto, but have only seen minor improvements. This device will never give you a range of 600 feet. Walking across the yard with no buildings in sight, I never got better than -68 dB signal strength. For reference, the maximum distance I could be from the access point would be 120 feet. The SFT store charges a 20% restocking fee for returns, which I believe is due to what I believe is this unit to be defective or not working as advertised. For a $180 hotspot, this is the worst hotspot I've ever bought.
