Review on Fiskars 91095935J 🌿 Classic Bypass Pruner, Black by Kristen Reid

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Inconvenient, copes with the task at a C grade.

Fiskars secateurs are one of the most common in garden stores in Moscow, I bought mine at the OBI store. At that time, I didn’t know anything about the manufacturer, I just took the one that seemed more convenient. The pruner is not cheap, it is made of high quality, it has a latch. Designed for cutting young wood. It consists of a cutting blade and an emphasis. Now about practical use. For me, it opens wide, so the grip is uncomfortable, more suitable for a man's hand. Handles made of durable plastic-like material slip. The cut diameter declared by the manufacturer is 22 mm, my pruner does not take it, it copes with a branch of about 1 centimeter with effort. I don’t know if the spring inside serves as a shock absorber, but during operation, the handles hit hard and hit the hand painfully. The cutting blade began to develop serrations, which is surprising given that I used it very little. For the purity of the experiment, I tried to work with the Fiskars pruner and about the same Chinese secateurs with Aliexpress, which I also don’t really like. So, the Chinese work easier, the grip is more comfortable, the handles seem to be rubberized, the hand does not slip. Effortlessly cuts branches of a larger diameter than Fiskars. It seemed to me that the price-quality ratio does not match. The pruner copes with the task at a C grade. Only for pruning thin branches and roses, and for these purposes you can buy cheap Chinese.
