My Acer Predator X34 S runs great in 180Hz mode with gsync enabled. Really great answer for Ultrawide. IPS screen. As with most IPS screens, the fastest overdrive setting is too high and causes noticeable overshoot, so the advertised response speed cannot be achieved at the "normal" overdrive setting. This is an industry-wide issue with IPS displays and is not specific to this model. Honest Complaints: My device's backlight bleeds in both top corners. Only noticeable in completely black scenes, I think it depends on how sensitive you are to it. I ended up replacing the included DP cable with a certified DP 1.4 cable because I had a flickering issue with gsync enabled. However, this issue may have been fixed with a newer graphics card driver, so your mileage may vary. The on-screen crosshair mode is not centered exactly in the middle of the screen. it's like 2 pixels right of dead center. Tested in multiple games and compared to my previous LG screen's crosshair mode. That's a stupid mistake. The monitor is very expensive for what it is. There are currently competitive 144Hz displays in the $500 price range with panels of similar quality. While the Predator X34 S offers the 'maximum' version of today's fast 3440 x 1440 IPS panels with factory OC 180Hz mode, whether that's worth the price difference is up to the buyer to decide.
