Review on Fel Pro 1230 Intake Manifold Gasket by Jay Sterns

I bought it to block the riser port on a Ford 460 which it will do. I had too much heat at the top of the cylinder heads and under the carburetor. It "boiled" engine oil nearby, creating soot. The manifold gaskets to the head appear to be well made to match the castings. I didn't like the self-adhesive cork face gaskets, so I used the rubber face gaskets from the Detroit gasket set, which were similar to the original ones used by Ford. The supplied o-ring for the distributor was ok. Made in the USA.
