This worked fine to replace my faulty ethernet port on my motherboard. I plugged it into a USB 3 port, connected a Cat 6E cable and turned the device on. Windows 10 used generic drivers to get basic connectivity, then I updated the driver and got full speed, testing speeds up to 1Gbps over my fiber optic connection. I also booted into Linux (Mint and Ubuntu) and this was recognized and worked correctly the first time booted at high speed. It also works with my Chromebook. I tested it on my phone and it detected an ethernet connection but only gave me 100Mbps. This works on Windows 10, Linux, Chrome OS and Android. I don't have a Nintendo Switch to test it, but I'm sure it will work since the Switch runs Android.
