Overall it's *good*. It works well from the printer side and supports my HP 5510 with very little custom configuration. (Tip: Make sure you download the latest printer driver from the manufacturer, otherwise the "wizard" will ask you for it at the wrong time. Printing and scanning work fine and it connects easily to my XP and Vista computers Do I also have to say that "the "concept" of what this product does is great - I no longer need to keep my computer powered on as a print server. Since I serve multiple domains at home and in the office, this also solves the problem of I need to fully qualify and run the domain server for the printer I have two significant problems with this product 1. I can't get the WPA support to work .WEP works fine but NO combination (and I've tried them all) works not for WAP (which is the preferred encryption method) This product works I should point out o I'm in the 'industry' and understand the specifics of computers and wireless technologies quite well. The problem is that the device will not connect when using WPA. I should add this when using WEP - it works like a charm.2. My second problem, of course, relates to trying to get support on this. You answer the phone but the person who helped me was rude and didn't even have a basic knowledge of wireless networks. She had a "process" to follow and had me follow steps that were NOT related to the problem (e.g. reinstalling the printer driver, putting all computers into a hardwired configuration, etc. She didn't understand what was happening arrived). the differences between WEP and WPA and at one point they wanted me to reinstall the printer driver and I didn't have the *original* disk handy (did I mention I already have the latest OEM driver installed?) - parted our ways also extends to manuals. Screenshots do not match what the new firmware showed and there were no new manuals on the network. I tried the knowledge base - it's even weaker than the support line. what I have already done. I'm more frustrated with having to keep my network in WEP as a matter of principle than in practice. There are other security measures you can take to prevent intrusion. It just upsets my sense of "cleanliness". I would recommend this product, but if you do need to call tech support, you better take your time and be patient.
